Modafinil vs Alpha brain: what is the difference?
Jen

Alpha brain didn't work for me at all , not even as a placebo. Modafinil (Modalert by SunPharma) has been a life-saver for me. It pulled me out a decade-long depression, with very few side effects (200 mg/day 5 days a week for 9 months).

I have tried Modafinil only. I will say that being busy with some activity stimulating the mind is critical. What I tend to do is read for 30 minutes in the am while I'm waiting for it to kick in. You'll be alert you'll be razor sharp in a couple of hours. I will tell you i have to make myself disengage sometimes or i will develop tunnel vision at work where i cannot be distracted I'm so focused

I've no idea what the naysayers must be expecting to feel but Alpha brain stuff works. Eat well, train hard and live a balanced life and it does boost brain function. I've been taking it for years and I am noticeably more productive, creative and focused when I take it.

Never tried Alpha Brain but found some reviews, I don't know if they're legit or not: "Finally tried Alpha Brain, combined with the green smoothie definitely helps improve my focus during the late working hours without using caffeine, just ordered the big bottle for my final batch of Adventure Time backgrounds." "I want to thank Onnit for introducing me to this product.! I am no celebrity or spokesman. I didn't know what to think at first but I decided to give Alpha Brain a try. This is a smooth brain enhancer. I was able to pick up a book and read it. I wasn't worried about who was behind me or around me. I am a veteran of 15 years and like most combat veterans I suffer from PTSD. Alpha Brain helped my concentration, preparation, confidence, memory, and focus. This was my experience.'

People buying everything including the kitchen sink worth of Nootropics with no fucking idea what they're doing. Not very smart (Oh the irony) For any noob it's best to keep it simple stupid, now that's smart. At least in the beginning..

I've tried Alpha brain , a few years ago now.. Didn't mind it.. If I could afford it I would love to experiment on a longer term basis.. Anyway, if people have any positive or negative feedback on Alpha Brain, lets hear it..

Actually, I have many methods I practice and discuss on my site about managing ADD/ADHD symptoms. However, due to popular demand, I've been testing various noots and some absolutely provide an improved mental edge and focus, while others do nothing. I've tried stacks like Alpha Brain, Qualia and others but later switched to modafinil, . The Modafinil is also from India and shipping was fast and easy, but even at 200-300 mg a day, I didn't feel the focus I was looking for. I just felt awake. It was disappointing because it was expensive and there was so much hype around it being THE smart drug. I'm gonna write up a formal comprehensive review on the site about it. I may be one of the few not recommending it, but it's just my honest opinion. Honestly, I'm sure it works wonders for some people. Hence, many positive experiences I've read about, too. That's the tricky thing with nootropics. Every person is different and can have a different experience with individual noots and stacks. I've had things work for me that haven't for others and vice versa. I don't think Modafinil was a total bust. Just not my personal favorite. It is definitely powerful and you don't necessarily have to start and stop taking it, but it's something I recommend for all nootropic stacks. A couple days off can be a good thing.
