Pregabaline + Modafinil: a way to take the edge of moda?
SHARE ON:
Anybody out there using pregbalin(e), specifically as a way to take the edge of modafanil?
Caleb
Don't do that. calcium channel blockers inhibit synaptogenesis aka brain cells linking together, can be taken acutely once in a while a a recreational sedative but apart from that will do more harm than good. even in neuropathic pain you'd be better off with agmatine and the like

Lyrica was hard for me to get off of but easy with magnolia bark, ashwagandha, theanine and memantine. I used Dihexa once I cold turkeyd my lyrica and i feel like I can remember much more for sure. Tolerance builds fast though but it always worked well for my anxiety... I would try magnolia bark extraxt before lyrica

Haven't used Pregabalin. For the edge though, I'd say Ashwagandha, L-Theanine, Glycine, Magnesium, Taurine + Tryptophan, NAC, and the things other people mentioned

things that take the edge off Modafinil for me are: Low Dose Naltrexone, Noopept, Phenibut and Sulbutiamine. Lyrica does that too, but I find it too strongly sedating to be effective. Last but not least, modafinil ruins my interpersonal speech and writing tempo. I've also noticed that it makes me more avoidant. Not effective at all for my line of work, unless on the rare occasions when I have to write boring technical stuff. I find that FLMODAFINIL creates less unwanted side-effects. I've found a clear negative correlation between the number of upvotes I get on my answers on Quora while on modafinil. Seems like my writing becomes too long, detailed and emotionally unappealing...kind of like now. :P

Ever notice how "awesome info" is normally subjectively defined as "info that fits my personal beliefs?"
I dunno, I personally am breaking it off again (second or third time in my life) to get clear of gaba type drugs because the long term and neutodestructive effects of chronic use that doesn't even adequately provide long term relief from my neuropathy (mainly just turns it to a downward spiral destroying my life and my health, leaving me crippled with pain, so on and so forth). Caleb is 100% straight up, memantine/agmatine, best stuff to oppose the opposite mechanism so gaining a similar effect with so much less long term threat of total loss of mind compared to consistent oversctivation of gaba.
