I hope this is okay since nicotine is counted as a nootropic. Anyway, since Adrafinil increases the dopamine level, and I use nicotine in vape form, I decided to take 100mg since 300 to 600 would be way too much with nicotine. Anyway, I took the Adrafinil, about 16 puffs from a 6mg eliquid, and my daily Kratom that I use for anxiety. It is working pretty well. Not too much energy, but I am awake. Has anyone else tried a similar combo?

It says that side effects must be limited, sure headaches suck but overdosing on nicotine made me want to kill myself. Vomiting, tremors, malaise, overstimulation, cramps, diarrhea etc...

As someone who's been using nootropics to stop smoking I must warn you to play carefully with nicotine. I never cared that it was bad for me but if I'd known it would become a monkey on my back I would've never started. Sorry if I sound preachy, I mean well. It's terrifyingly addictive & especially when mixed with dopamine. Obsessively so!

Nicotine increases dopamine though, so of course it will be mixed with dopamine. I know what you mean though. And nicotine is not addictive on its own. I don't understand why people can't get that. What makes it addictive is the MAOIs and other substances in cigarettes and tobacco that prevent your body from breaking it down and making it much stronger. So far, I vape for a week straight along with Kratom and Adrafinil then quit for a day and a half. I felt no withdrawals whatsoever, and I never felt one urge to use it.

Nicotine is a stimulant but you can get a little fix every few minutes, all day & night. It's a slippery slope! Hard to find anything else you can do so often.

As far as nicotine in vaping, I agree. Nicotine has a strong effect on me. So much so, that a regular cigarette literally knocks me on my ass and makes feel just plain miserable. I vape too and if anything I continue to lower my nic content.
